It seems counter intuitive, but the more ‘restrictive’ my diet became in terms of eliminating animal products, the more freedom, health and vitality I experienced.

Amazing Guide to Veganism and Life

You can read this book in only a few hours, but don’t let the quickness of the read fool you, it is jam packed with so much information. It’s a great guide for new vegans or people looking to begin their journey of a more ethical lifestyle, along with specific, helpful facts and insight that is helpful even to longtime vegans; I’ve been vegan for 7 years and I learned things from this book.

Specifically, I found the information on travelling as a vegan incredibly insightful and the chapter on nutrition is a very direct, to-the-point reference I will be using in the future. The lessons on growth, healing, and self-love are genuinely important and well said, and they come from the voice of someone who knows what she’s talking about. I couldn’t recommend this book any higher to vegans, those interested in veganism, and those who are interested in working on themselves and their inner peace.
